Valentine Day; Who started Valentines Day?

In the year 268AD, In Rome, there lived a powerful emperor by the name Emperor Claudius II. He had an army. War was common. Emperor Claudius II studied his army and realised that most of his soldiers were ‘distracted’ or ‘reluctant’ and getting more soldiers to join his army was hard. He decided to investigate this.
Emperor Claudius II realised that his soldiers were reluctant. They weighed the impact on their wives and children and wished to have more time with them. This greatly displeased him. To insure large numbers of soldiers for his armies, Claudius outlawed marriage for the young men.
Emperor Claudius II could just not absolutely stop marriages!
Is Valentine in the Bible?- Who was Valentine?
Valentine was a priest. His popularity increased during this era. He conducted marriage ceremonies in church. He continued to join the men and women’s hand in marriage. Going against the law was very risky. Valentine felt the law was simply unjust!
Valentine continued performing marriage ceremonies in secret and hidden from the eyes of authorities.
Valentine’s death
Valentine was imprisoned and martyred on 14th February. A festival was created in his memory, the Valentines day.
